Home is wherever I’m with you

This isn’t a real post, really, I just had to pop by and share this incredible post on buying a home with your love, written by Amelia Walton on her great blog.

In this way, it’s kind of like we’ve both developed a really big crush on the same person and now we’re all in the glow of young love all over again. Bear with me, but this has absolutely nothing to do with light fixtures and square footage and closet space, and everything to do with the feeling of making one more knot in the rope that binds our life together. Much like when Drew and I looked and Asher and then looked at each other and felt that little click of knowing that we were permanently bound to one another, we are now standing and staring at oak trees and thinking, click.

Pop over and read the rest of the post, it’s lovely. And makes me want a house more than ever!

PS. That house in the picture above? You’re going to love the interior. I could have pinned every picture (click arrow at top right of picture to see the rest)

What a sweet post – I can’t wait for when Joe and I buy our own house. It’s going to be a few years off (he needs to finish grad school and we have to decide where it is we want to be) but I am so excited for the potential. Sometimes, we send each other house listings :)

Yeah, we’re a few years off too – mainly because I think what we want right now (city centre flat) isn’t what we’ll want in a few years.
We do that too! It’s nice to dream :)

Eeeeek, you are so sweet, thank you! I was just lurking around on your blog yesterday, I promise that we’re having a little mutual adoration here :)

The post is lovely! Wish I could write like that. Also the interior of that house is perfectly cozy, minimalistic, rustic and casual. I love it!
